Don’t miss the final conference of the e-SAFE project, titled “Enabling Replication: Integrated Renovation for Adaptive and Resilient Buildings”, taking place on 23 September 2025, at the BIP Meeting Centre in Brussels.
This event marks the culmination of five years of innovative work supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme. Since its inception in 2020, the e-SAFE project has developed a pioneering deep renovation solution that blends energy efficiency, seismic resistance, circular economy principles, and a renewed architectural identity—all within a socially and financially sustainable framework.
The conference will gather EU and national policymakers, researchers, and professionals from the construction and renovation sectors to discuss how upcoming legislative and financial tools—such as the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD)—can drive integrated renovation strategies across Europe.
Attendees will also hear insights from e-SAFE’s pilot projects in Catania (Italy) and Timisoara and Bucharest (Romania), which have demonstrated the real-world application and impact of the project’s multidisciplinary, participatory approach.
In addition to showcasing e-SAFE’s results, the conference will feature clustering sessions with other projects focused on energy efficiency, seismic safety, and environmental sustainability—offering a unique platform to exchange best practices, build synergies, and explore replication potential.
