An annual conference held for EU project clustering, research, workshops and networking towards sustainable places
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and R2M Solution welcome to Sustainable Places 2026 in Luxembourg at the European Convention Center for its first winter edition. Participants can organize workshops, synchronize project events with the conference, or co-design thematic tracks by contacting the organizing committee. Sustainable Places focuses on sustainability in buildings and the built environment at building, district, and urban scales, including transport and energy infrastructures, highlighting results from EU Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects.
SP26 themes include energy communities, smart cities, urban transition, sustainable construction and renovation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy transition policies, sustainable urban renewal, renewable energy technologies, decarbonisation, circularity, resilience, energy security, and AI for sustainability.
