Role: design studies on timber reuse
The main aim of KIT is to test the replicability of SIRCULAR approach in non-residential buildings. Within
SIRCULAR, a full renovation plan of the building envelope (façade and roof) with climate friendly construction
materials will be performed, following the principles of circular construction to enable multiple life cycles and
avoid construction and demolition waste. The developed solution will be fully prefabricated in order to
minimize construction time and cost.
