TREA (established 2009) is a non-profit organization supporting municipalities and apartment associations all over Estonia and is actively participating in international cooperation networks and is introducing the latest examples of innovation from all over the Europe. TREA has and is providing technical consultancy and expertise regularly on reconstruction and energy management for apartment associations and has participated and participates in different reconstruction, renewable energy and energy communities’ European projects. TREA experts are working on energy management at buildings level, also in household or organization/company level, in municipality level and in national level. TREA professions are energy performance in buildings, renewable energy systems, energy communities, fostering cooperation between public and private sector.
Role: stakeholder engagement, local value chain, collaboration
TREA-s main role is to support the activities of Estonian Living Lab approach and engagement of end-users and stakeholders to accelerate social innovation, collaborative knowledge generation, technology customization, validation and final end-product definition. TREA contributes to the value chain creation based on its competences and national and international networks. Additionally, TREA will contribute to Regulatory Sandboxes developments and participate in elaboration of Policy innovation and certification and standardization recommendations. Relying on its membership in international and national networks and platforms, TREA will actively participate in creation of synergies with other projects and initiatives.
